Hey, hey! Happy Valentine's Day!

LOL! Yes, I know it was yesterday.

I pray that you each had your heart's desire for valentine's Day. If you didn't, just know that I love you and it is just one day. There is always next year. If it makes you feel better, I didn't have a romantic Valentine either. I did have my daughter as my loving Valentine, and that is more than gold to me.

So, in the last post, I mentioned I would present the official name of my blog…CAN I PLEASE GET A DRUM ROLL…….The blog name is Nome Designs, LOL. Okay, you are probably wondering why I felt the need to have a separate name for my blog. Well, After much thought, and conferring with people that I trust, I realized that there was no reason to give my blog a separate name because the blog IS a part of Nome Designs Fashion.

Alright, let's get into THIS weeks blog post! I am very excited to thoroughly share another one of my favorite creations, the "They See Me"Jumpsuit! Again like the "Keep Chillin'" Jumpsuit, the original name of this jumpsuit was very basic, and predictable. I originally named this jumpsuit the Plunge. Then I thought to myself to give it a name that gives it personality. When you see someone in a plunging neck line, you definitely see them, and more. That is how I came up with this jumpsuit's "personality, " therefore name. I love the sleek, confident appearance of this jumpsuit. When I decided to place this piece on the model above, it was because of this young lady's sassy style.

I've know this young lady since she was 5 years old in church, and her mom had her dressed up like a little fashionista then. Now, we both minister through a praise team every Sunday for Second Baptist Church of Reno, NV. This young lady is also a part of the Second baptist prayer team helping to encourage others through prayer. And let me tell you, this child is a prayer warrior! Along with being a minister in the church, she is a model, and a didgitle creator. You can check her out on instagram @xobabyni. This young lady has such a phenomal body that it was a NO BRAINER to place her in this Jumpsuit. No matter what she wears, they see her!

Now clearly, "They See Me" Jumpsuit is a show stopper and can be warn with a slim blazer or without for certain occasions. A few examples: Valentine's Day date, Anniversary date, New year's Eve date, bachelorette party, etc. The best hair styles for this jumpsuit would be a sleek low bun (or ponytail with a fedora) or long wavy full hair that you can also rock a fedora with as well. If you are new to the idea of wearing a fedora hat, here are a few of my go to online stores: The Kyra Danaya Collection, Peach and Manga, and if you are a baller on a budget - budget, I have found super cute fedoras at Walmart.

To help dress this jumpsuit up, you can wear statement jewelry, and open toe heels. If you are not used to rocking statement jewelry, but you would love to start, you can check out The Wowo Collection on Instagram (these statement pieces will soon be added to the Nome Designs website). For cute heels, you can check out Fashionova for an abundant array of shoe selections to help elevate your outfit, while wearing Nome Designs "They See Me" Jumpsuit.

This is Nome Designs "They See Me" Jumpsuit, how it was inspired, why I chose to place it on this model, and ways to style this jazzy, and sassy piece.

I thank you so very much for taking the time to get to know this jumpsuit. I pray you have a blessed day, and intentionally seek to give someone a compliment today!

Hello, hello! Thank you for placing time aside to read this next installment of my fashion blog! A few of you may be thinking I should have a custom title for my blog… well, that is in the works. I do not want to rush and name my updated blog, without giving it thorough thought. I plan to name my fashion blog the next blog post.

Alright, let's get into this weeks blog post! I am very excited to thoroughly share one of my favorite creations, the Keep Chillin' Jumpsuit! The original name of this jumpsuit was very basic - so basic, I do not even remember what I originally named it, LOL! I didn't give it much thought when I created this piece, because I was creating my website, and conceptualizing more designs - my mind was flooded with new ideas! Now that my head is a little more free, and after doing months of research and spiritually connecting with this design - I decided to name it the Keep Chillin' jumpsuit. I love the simple flow and elegant appearance to this jumpsuit. When I decided to place this piece on the model above, it was because of this young lady's natural style.

I met this young lady when I was working as a Sales Manager for Dillard's Reno Juniors Department, and she was one of my exceptional employees. She was always dressed so fashionably chill and relaxed, and I just dug her style. She seemed to know what looked good on her, and was very confident in what she wore - with her long, flowing dresses and jumpsuits. I felt it fitting to place her in this jumpsuit. She is now pursuing her dream of becoming a hair stylist, please check her out on instagram @beauty_bykm_ for hairstyles to rock with this jumpsuit and other Nome design pieces.

You do not always need to have a great hair day to rock Nome Designs Keep Chillin' Jumpsuit. A quick solution to a bad hair day, and a perfect fir with this jumpsuit - a fedora hat! Just tie your hair back in a pony tail or bun, and keep it moving'! If you are new to the idea of wearing a fedora hat, here are a few of my go to online stores: The Kyra Danaya Collection, Peach and Manga, and if you are a baller on a budget - budget, I have found super cute fedoras at Walmart.

Rocking a Fedora with this jumpsuit can be worn both dressed up and down. To help dress this jumpsuit up, you can wear statement jewelry, and heels. If you are not used to rocking statement jewelry, but you would love to start, you can check out The Wowo Collection on Instagram (these statement pieces will soon be added to the Nome Designs website). For cute heels, you can check out Fashionova for an abundant array of shoe selections to help elevate your outfit, while wearing Nome Designs Keep Chillin' Jumpsuit.

I thank you so very much for taking the time to get to know this jumpsuit. I pray you have a blessed day, and intentionally seek to give someone a compliment today!

This year has truly been a trying time for every single person that has been blessed with God's breath! This is my personal account of how, I feel this year affected me. This is also my first blog post since 2017. You are probably thinking to yourself, "..since 2017? she is not serious about her craft…?" I get it, and I have been procrastinating, and justifying why I had not been blogging, nor posting my designs on social media as often as I should have been. Well, this is my "b.s." reason: I simply became incredibly disappointed.discouraged, and had my share of depression moments.

I was so ready for the year 2020, the year of a new decade. It was supposed to be the year that I was going to come out of my introverted shell and reveal more of myself as a personal brand and make loads of gorgeous clothing for every women. I was so sure that I was going to "take over the world!" LOL, Apologies, just being silly. On a serious note, I really felt like my business was really gong to make some financial ground this year. I finally had funds to create a custom website, acquired custom business cards, and showcase my designs in the Reno, Nevada Fashion show. I had so many hopes, and when this COVID 19 virus reared it's ugly head, I didn't even formally launch my website on my social media sites. I asked myself , "what for? " and didn't even pursue marketing my website or myself. It is funny how our minds can go toward the negative so quickly, and ignore the small wins that had been accomplished before hand. It isn't until now, that I have cleared out all of the negative thoughts and clearly see all that I have accomplished toward my business and who is the head of my life, The GOD Almighty (my Heavenly Oseme) who never gave up on me and pursued the relationship we had; revealing to me that this year is NOT over yet!

With this revelation in the forefront of my mind, I first sought to strengthen the relationship I had with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In retrospect, I had started this rebuilding in September of 2019 by leaving a managerial position with Dillard's and revisiting a past relationship that revealed why the holy spirit compelled me to leave the relationship in the first place. Then in this year, the spirit lead me to let go of a church ministry I helped to launch a couple years back, and this was not an easy decision. I believe, it was because I was had been thinking that it was time to leave the ministry earlier than I did and was feeling guilty for not doing so. I prayed about this decision for months before even letting anyone know. Looking back, I was supposed to help launch that ministry and it helped me grow a lot as a leader in God's kingdom. I was very blessed to have worked with my fellow ministers and our mentor. I truly know now, that my i do have a ministry and it is to encourage others through fashion and song…but we are going to focus on the fashion ministry, because this is a fashion blog, aha!

So, welcome to my fashion blog, reimagined! In this blog I will talk about fashion and show some love to my heavenly Oseme (father in uhrobo) in future blog posts to come. I am excited for this next chapter, and again, this year is NOT over yet! This year has pushed me to appreciate the small wins and at least start on something, as long as we choose to keep pushing through our distress there is light at the end of the tunnel. " Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning" (psalm 30:5).
